Have you been thinking of looking for a furry friend to share your home with? Now’s the perfect time to adopt a cat!

During the month of August, ADA will sponsor free spay/neuter and vaccinations for the cats adopted from Johnson County Community Cats (JCCC). Photos and information about the cats available for adoption can be found here: jcccats.org/adoptable-cats/

About JCCC

Johnson County Community Cats was created in 2013 in an effort to humanely control and reduce the overpopulation of community cats in our county. They became their own not-for-profit and obtained 501(c)(3) status in 2019 so they could focus on their mission to save cats. JCCC is not government funded and relies solely on grants and donations from the community to continue their mission.

JCCC is a volunteer-only organization, meaning nobody receives a paycheck, and 100% of donations go directly to helping cats in their care and in the community. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of volunteers, JCCC has been able to spay/neuter and vaccinate over 6,000 cats.

JCCC believes spay/neuter and education are the only ways to stop the cat overpopulation and create a happier, healthier world for both owned cats and community cats.
