Why ADA is “Just Right” for Any Size Job

If you’re a large company, you might think you need to hire a large contractor for your automatic door needs. Think again! We’re certainly not the biggest players on the field, but that didn’t stop us from successfully tackling a recent project for a multinational retail chain. In fact, we were selected to do the job over a national door company, and we owe it all to the Goldilocks Principle: Whether you’re a giant national chain, a small boutique company, or something in the middle, we’re not too big, we’re not too small—we’re the contractor that’s “just right.”

The Big Job

A multinational retailer was opening a brand new store in central Indiana. They needed doors and access that were up to the industry standard, but they also needed a high-end look to help them set a welcoming tone and fit with their brand aesthetics. First, they talked to a big, national automatic door chain they thought would surely be up to the challenge. But here’s what they learned: the big guys wouldn’t be able to get the doors installed in time for the grand opening. They just didn’t have enough flexibility. And that’s where we came in.

The retailer reached out to ADA, and we immediately sprang into action. Over the years, we’ve fostered many excellent relationships with our suppliers and contractors, so we were able to get everything we needed to complete the job on short notice. We also have an incredible team of top-notch, certified technicians, so we were able to staff this huge job with ease. And lastly, while we’re by no means tiny, we’re small enough to be nimble, and we were able to create a custom workflow that was built around the retailer’s deadlines. Three months later, we delivered on time, on budget, and helped support a successful store launch.

The retailer also wanted continuing support after the launch, so we added our ProActive Maintenance Program to help protect their investment. We’re proud of our hard-working team, proud to call this multinational retailer a client, and definitely proud of how the project turned out. Be sure to check out the sharp-looking photos below!

How ADA Serves Companies of All Sizes

We mentioned the Goldilocks Principle, which is another way of saying we’re “just right” for any job. Here’s how our size, structure, and approach is helping ADA serve clients of all sizes.

We’re Nimble

When you’re working with a big company, it can feel pretty rigid and cookie-cutter. That’s because you’re dealing with forty layers of approvals, a hierarchy, and everything seems to take forever. At ADA, we’re small enough to be flexible and make adjustments on the fly. Our process is whatever process works for you.

We’re All About Relationships

Many huge contractors have you working with a whole roster of their people. But are all of those people up to speed? How many times do you have to explain who you are and what you need? At ADA, we’ve solved the communication problem by giving you a dedicated project manager. They’re on top of every aspect of your project, you’re always a priority, and you’ll never get lost in the shuffle.

We Can Easily Scale Up and Down

We like being a mid-sized company, because we’re free to work on jobs of all sizes. For example, if there’s a small job, we have the flexibility to engage. And if there’s a big job, we have the relationships we need to quickly “staff up.”

We Offer a Full Range of Services

At ADA, we have the ability to handle everything from start to finish—the design, the installation, the service and repair. It truly is one-stop shopping. Small companies love it because it’s one less thing for them to manage. And big companies love it because it’s the level of service they’ve grown accustomed to.

We Do the Maintenance

Like the old saying goes, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” And that’s exactly why we offer our ProActive Maintenance Program, which helps you save money by stopping problems before they start. That’s great for small companies, where every dollar counts. And that’s great for large companies, who can’t afford stoppages.

We Help You Create an Aesthetic

Since we handle the entire design phase, we can help your company create curb appeal. Small companies appreciate that because they’re trying to build a brand and make a good first impression. And big companies appreciate it because they have a reputation to uphold.

We love working with companies of every shape and size! Helping to solve your unique challenges is what keeps us excited about going to work every day. So whether you have a small automatic door project or a big one, or something in between, give us a call to see how we can help make it “just right.”
