The countdown is over. The ball finally dropped. And now it’s time to grab 2023 by the horns. So, we decided to do exactly that by making a new year’s resolution. This year, we’re challenging ourselves to take our already-great customer experience and make it even better. Here’s exactly how we plan to do it:

1. Expand Our Proactive Fire Door Inspection Program

Fire doors might be considered niche products, but they’re important ones. You can read all about fire doors by clicking here, but the gist is: they increase safety and reduce property damage by slowing the spread of fires, and they’re a regulatory requirement in many buildings. So not only can you potentially save lives and your building by maintaining fire doors, you’ll avoid fines, as well.

That’s why we’re expanding our Proactive Fire Door Inspection Program. We’re adding more certified technicians and dedicating more of our company bandwidth to the program. It all adds up to more safety, more security, and a better customer experience. Contact us today to learn more about our PFDI program and schedule your fire door inspection.

2. Improve Our Proactive Maintenance Program

Many people only think about door maintenance after something breaks down. But that can lead to a few significant problems. First, you’re creating a period of time when your doors aren’t operating safely (or at all). Second, you might be allowing unauthorized personnel into restricted or sensitive areas. And third, you might experience downtime, which costs your business money, leads to an interruption of service, and makes a bad impression on clients.

But you don’t have to let it get to that point. You can stop these problems before they start with our Proactive Maintenance Program. The nuts and bolts of this program are the same as they’ve always been. We still send you a best-in-class technician. We still tighten and lubricate components. And we still calibrate your sensors. But in 2023, we’re arming our specialists with even more training, even more on-hand equipment, and even more availability. That extends the life of your doors, increases safety, and protects your investment.

3. Maintain Exemplary Inventory Levels and Quality

For some companies, inventory levels can be tricky to forecast, so they order everything as they go. But that creates a big issue for their clients, who could be expected to wait for weeks with improperly functioning doors until the parts and pieces finally arrive. At ADA, our inventory levels are tailored to our clientele, and we’ve always made it a point to keep our vans and warehouses well stocked. That means we’re able to offer same-day service. It means we can typically complete your repair on the first call. It means we provide the fastest solutions when you need them the most.

We’ve also advanced our relationships with manufacturers. And we’ve done that on two different levels: First, we diversified, so if one manufacturer experiences supply-chain problems, we’re always ready to pivot. Second, we’ve deepened our relationships with existing suppliers, so we can be sure we always have the inside track on state-of-the-art parts and equipment.

For 2023, we resolve to carry more inventory than ever before, to continue developing fruitful relationships with our suppliers, to stay on top of advancements in the industry…and to give you the best darn products and service at our disposal.

4. Increase Our Commitment to the Community

Not only do we take our work very seriously, but also our role in the community and our capacity to give back and do good. This year, we’re hoping to make an even bigger impact through more charity involvement, more events, and more contributions to local drives.

We’re still planning out a full roster of charitable activities to participate in, but at least one is already on the books: For the last few years, we’ve been proud sponsors of Mallow Run Winery’s “Wine at the Line” event, and we will continue that tradition this fall. Not only is this 5k run/walk a blast and a half, but it also acts as a fundraiser for different local charities each year. Stay tuned for more info as we get closer to the 2023 event!

We sat down as a company with the goal of making a new year’s resolution…and we ended up making four of them. But they all boil down to this: In 2023, ADA resolves to do the absolute best by our clients and community that we possibly can. It’s a resolution we’re proud of and are excited to work towards.

Happy New Year, everyone! Here’s to a safe, happy, and prosperous 2023 for all.
